Julia's Grill

Word on the street is Julia lost her first tooth last night at a birthday sleepover for her best good friend Ella. Apparently it came out all on its own in the night. Surely this will be a sign of their eternal bond of friendship as Ella lost the same tooth, the same tooth that was being crowded out by an already erupting adult tooth behind it, when Julia slept over just two weeks ago.
BFF!

What did the tooth fairy bring?

The tooth fairy comes tonight! She doesn't come when you loose the tooth in your sleep only when you carefully place the lost tooth under your pillow. Duh! One question...can the tooth fairy visit when the owner of the tooth is sleeping over at her girlfriend's house?

Good question...probably in the interest of preserving the faith in the tooth fairy, she ought to pay a visit to the girlfriend's house...but I'll pay you back, man...how about one buck?! How much did Ella's fairy bring?

The fairy that visits our home brings an extra good gift for the first tooth lost...you know it is the most important one! She brought Ella one quarter and a Leapster Endangered Species game cartridge. I have a quarter and a good gift on hand for such occasions...no need for paybacks. I enjoy re-living my childhood through my children and their best good friends. I'll take pictures again for your precious bloggie blog blog.

Leapster? What the HECK? Here at the Jackson house we are a lot like the Amish, we're not so much into exalting our children and making graven images out of TEETH. =) No, really, in the interest of fairness to our firstborn whose tooth fairy could never seem to remember to show up, we probably better not have her getting a big ticket item that might could cause any rivalry. Just something small that her mom might like would be just fine. =) If you don't have anything appropriate, a dollar would be swell!

We offered $5 yesterday to let us pull it before the party and she said NO DEAL. Boy, is she going to be kicking herself.

(Andrew is reading over my shoulder and just said, "Julia is not athletic enough to kick herself!")

Ok, so does that mean Dr. Barbie who just delivered twins is out of the question? Rats! Tell Andrew I'll get him a Barbie too...to make up for being shafted by the fairy in his earlier days. I do have something of less value than Barbie, MD. I already planted to the goods, but will switch out the gifts. They are fast asleep and have been for a while. For some odd reason Julia was very sleepy and wanted to go right to bed. Ella told her she "would stay awake to watch for the fairy and to check if it was a boy or a girl". A girl tooth fairy? That's just not right.

I think that one cousin of ours is wasting a lot of shekels to gratify himself.

Just because you're selling and buying a house does not mean you can leave your faithful readers with nothing. Toss a tasty nugget of words our way...
We are starving.

Zero nuggets will be available until further notice.

Thank You!
