This morning I was nearly run down in the grocery store parking lot by a speeding Buick driven by a bouffant-haired 60-something. She failed to yield. Badly. As she barreled on by, I noticed her bumper which was ironically emblazoned with "We are PRO-LIFE!"
The sanctity of human life apparently ceases once the life has exited the birth canal.

Makes me think of Sunday mornings when I get closer to church and want so badly to pass the slow car in front of me but won't because it might be someone that I know from church or worse - a person coming to visit our church for the first time and recognizes me in the parking lot....
Yeah....I'm anti-bumper sticker for reasons like when I might need to be a more assertive, ah, efficient driver.
